It has snowed more this year than the past several years. The top picture shows Kenneth standing next to the mailbox.....ours is the one on the left...and yes there is actually snow on top of the mailbox. We have to clear away the snow from the area so that they will deliver our mail, which has created a pile taller than Kenneth!
This is the other side of the driveway from the mailbox. We are grateful to have an old snowblower that works most of the time. The problem now is the blower won't shoot over the tall mountains that we already have. I took these pictures 2 days ago and it has snowed both days since then - about another 10 to 12 inches. We need the moisture - it is just a lot of snow!!!! The kids in the neighborhood have had a great time with all of the sledding opportunities. Kenneth has had 3 or 4 snow days already. Today he stayed home and at dinner he prayed that it would be warm enough to go to school tomorrow......I asked him why and he said that staying home is boring :)
